Anyone know a 26 Scarab on Ft Gibson Lake
 

Who own a 26 Scarab. It was white with red, orange and yellow graphics with Scarab 26 down the sides. I saw this boat out at FT Gibson I was running 93 GPS MPH When he came by me and disappear. I was unable to catch up or find him the rest of the day.

I found this pic its is like the Scarab I saw. I dont know who pic this is hope you dont mine that I used it.

Man thats pretty good doing 93 mph and got passed, he must have really been moving

I figured something running that fast would be known here and who it is.

If he was going that fast, maybe he stole it!

Maybe he wanted to fool people and just painted "26 Scarab" on the side of a 44 MTI!

I guess your both brave to take anything but a seadoo on that lake. Let alone find a place to do 90 mph!!!!

The last time I was out there I fell off of my stand up ski in Flat rock, in the middle of the lake and was waste deep in water.

Every bass boat I have had I have hit bottom.... Luckily it was SOFT. No bud light involved either.!!!!

I know the lake well and yes there are lots of shallow areas. I run a Allison myself usually runs about 96.

Ditto! That lake scares the hell out of me.

I did the same thing on my stand up ski back in the late 90s. Fell off several hundred yards from the bank, stood up and walked to my ski. Freaked me out. That's when I knew the lake wasn't anything I would be boating on.

I've been around here my whole life and work on alot of boats around here. I don't know or never heard of a 26 scarab running anywhere close to those speeds.

I sure wouldn't want to be doing more than 90 on a 26 scarab :eek:

I wasn't looking to bash the lake. Just want to know about the boat.

Nigel Hook held the "A" Class speed record at 93 in a 26 Scarab (Single Engine)

All I can say is I was running 93 when he went by me.

Just curious what boat were you in when the Scarab blew by you

Allison usually runs about 96 but I was loaded down.

Ive "heard" of a 26 Scarab F1 with that kinda power running on an arneson that did 110+. I don't know for a fact but I heard this and to be quite honest I believe it.
That guys boat had to be 100+ to pass him like that obviously and he was only on a bravo.

Thats still pretty amazing. Im jealous. Even 93 is pretty damn fast if ya ask me.

That is george goebel's scarrab, He runs over a 100mph and has a mr gadgets built bravo. i purchased my drive from him for my Baja.
