Anyone remember a 38zr wreck from 05-06

It's red black and white. It was in a wreck back in 05 or 06 in one of the northern lake's. I am looking at this boat and was wondering how bad the damage was or if anyone would happen to have pics of it. I did a search but was unable to find anything about it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There was a red/white one about that time that went up and over a 32 cruiser (killing a couple) on a lake in VA around that time......not sure if your thinking of the same boat. I don't know what the damage was, just remember the story.

I'm pretty sure the VA boat was a 38 ZrComp....

the boat im asking about was probably owned by the factory or a marina in wisconsin at the time. The graphics on it are the same as Donzi used in the brochure.

Donzi33 09-16-2010 03:36 PM

The boat that was in the accident in VA was a ZR Comp.

That's not the Donzi (which was an all while w/ red interior ZRC Pleasure with 575s) that was in the Virginia accident.

I do vaguely recall an accident with a ZR could be the boat described/pictured above.

Could this be the same boat in the first few pics?

Great looking boat!

Why mess with a wrecked boat when there are so many deals on no history/no wrecked stuff out there?

I think there is a 120K, 38ZR in the classifieds.

The boat in the link is not the same boat. JS I'm not looking at purchasing the boat, i need some information for a different reason. I am trying to clear up some things that are being told to me.

I believe there was a Donzi that was barrel rolled on Pistakee Lake, here on the Chain, in Northern Illinois. I think a couple of the mechanics, from Bald Knob Marina were test driving it. Don't know any of the details of the boat, though.

You know, I seem to remember something happening on the Chain with a Donzi. It came to mind the other day, but the only thing I know for a fact there was a Sunsation incident. There might have been a Donzi too.

Sunsation was a 32 twin step, WFO in 3 ft of water and no step bottom experience......pics were ugly.
