How is the ramp? If I remember correctly, not too good. I may go around to Bar Beach which is also in Hempstead Harbor and I've used before.

It was a good run today. Billy puts on a nice event. I think there were about 20 boats...not bad considering the times we are in. Always nice to see some old friends too...they brought out one of my favorite old boats ran extremely well.
Justice was 3rd to Bridgeport and it was a 3 boat drag race the entire way. I think we ran a best of 120 at 4950...needed smaller props (i'm told they are on the way). I shot some video from my blackberry, so I'll try to post it later. Getting buzzed by the seaplane was a treat... The 2 skaters ran well , but we beat them both to the 2nd stop...that leg was a little rougher and the Outerlimits ate it up. :) Big thanks Johnny and Jimmy ...I had a great time and we had a great crew. You guys are the best. |
who were the first two skaters to the 1st stop?

After the first stop the skaters took it easiy coming back there was no race to the second. They already won the first leg. First was Dr Carl's 36, and second was the 50 foot skater Joe C.

Man, that Outerlimits is a beautiful boat!
Video looked a little rougher than I would have expected for such a big boat! yeah...terrible video on my part. it was a legit 2'-4' chop and was a pretty smooth ride. Jim was adding quite a bit of trim to in an effort to get some more revs(see my earlier post) so we were pretty loose. looking forward to the chopper shots! |
What a great looking boat "Justice" is.

It was either that or "Shadows Rule, Challengers Drool" but I didn't want to make Jason and Johnny Saris upset. :grinser010: We set up on one of the turns to watch you take a couple laps in the "Wing"....very cool. |
