South if Jones Beach heading East at around 65 mph go Tom!!!
Unfortunately looks like he just slowed and is heading North coming off the ocean.

This just speculation but they were running about 66 mph at 755 am then slowed to 6-9 mph.
From my experience running an MTI he went from two mills running fine and lost something in one of the two drivelines.
To bad cause I just checked the buoy at the sout east tip of LI and the waves are 2.5 ft the weather is great for this now.
Running 66 however the seas must of been present I imagine. Knowing Tom if it would of been 2-3 footer he would of been in the 90's.
Again just speculation with my best assessment.

It's foggy on the ocean this morning, maybe it got too thick? The water also gets colder around Jones beach so the fog can get even thicker on a day like today.. It's some humid air we have today... I'm going boating but waiting an hour for the fog to lift a bit.
