I use Fleet Brite from a place called Truck Pro. It works wonders on alum wheels toolboxes and the best part about it you spray it on let it sit for a min then hose if off and has a shine that looks like a buff job. Its the same solution big truck car washes use im sure its just muratic acid dilluted with water. I dont have a alum trailer but my guess it would shine it right up. I used it on my imco satin lowers this past weekend and they cleaned up great... they really need to be smoothed out to give a great shine that satin has kinda rough finish
