2005 32 with 500 efi's 130hrs, XR Uppers, Imco Shorties, we hit 104 on the seatrial bt ran out of room. It has run a best of 109 with 4 blade 34's

Sweet Ride!! I'm surprised that 109 is top speed when it runs 104 with 300xs's. just thinking out loud.

It will pick up about 7 mph with just changing the lowers to -3s....and will not increase any rpm!!!!!!!

My assumption is HP vs weight ratio plays a part as well.

Seems like this would be one of the more reasonable cats to insure.

So far I have 2 quotes 5400 and 6k a year. I still have a few options my current insurance told me I have 30 days to shop they cover it for 30 days up to 10% over my agreed value on my last boat which is more than enough. Im trying to get somewhere around 35 to 3800 if I can. If I cant it is what it is.
