I had a boat named after me. I had a 20 cig and hung around with a bunch of cruisers and a fountain. My uncle had a small 16 ft boat and came around and ended up with a cruiser . Everyone called him daveys uncle. "Here comes daveys uncle everyone" is what they said. So when they got the cruiser they named it "Daveys Uncle" It is still today owned by my uncle with the great name.

There is a boat in Newport CA that is called "Bob's your Uncle" and I always wondered about that boat's name and it's meaning. It also has a hailing port of Transylvania.

Now that was hilarious Perfect Storm. I see you are from Buffalo, NY. I was born in Ft. Erie, ON and lived on the Niagara River looking across to Buffalo for the first 20 years of my life. I now enjoy the best of what our two countries have to offer and pretty much feel like a dual citizen.

It's really a small world! You grew-up near my home port, and I'll hopefully be retiring near your's. I bought a condo for my retirement years in Cape Coral, with a boat dock and a direct-access canal to the Gulf of Mexico.

You and Nathan have incredible boats! I've always admired Jassman's Nor-Tech. I'm glad for you guys that the Canadian economy is doing so well!
