the bear 10-01-2010 02:54 PM

What about the Zebra Muscles....they cant attach to the drives at those speeds......its just not fair......

apache727 10-01-2010 03:16 PM

The seagrass comment is pretty ridiculous too. It's offshore racing not flats boat racing. Their props won't be hitting any grass.. maybe just a manattee seaturtle dolphin or two..

Wally 10-01-2010 03:27 PM

the problem with these idiots is they drink the coolaid without doing their own investigating. The last aerial surveys of manatees for the east and west coasts of Florida in 2010 showed a population of 5076 of these "cows" Quite a bit from 10yrs ago when they were at 1646.

If the tree huggers post their comments, why doesn't Offshore Powerboaters post their comments?

I did, I said Manatee tastes like chicken. I think they flagged it. :party-smiley-004:

And they filet much easier in the water, especially when you have 5 blades instead of 1...

Catmando 10-01-2010 08:50 PM

Doesn't the EPA or somebody fly the course before the race looking for turtles and manatees? They used to do that on the east coast.
