I suspect the windshield could take a pretty good strike. I nailed a cormerant at about 90. It came up over the deck and hit the windshield on my daytona dead on center , skipped over the top edge and went between the back seat pasengers thankfully. The beak on those suckers would surely penetrate your skull nicely.

zero damage to the windshield but a good load o bird poo streaked thru the interior.

I had a bat smack me in the face at about 40 a few years back. Wasnt that pleasant. I found it dead on the back seat the next morning

I don't think a pterodactyl could break the material they used to make my 1/4 canopies. That stuff is SOLID.

I think the answer would lie in wether you hit the bird at 143 MPH or 79 MPH...

Hey, and some gear set numbers would be handy for my old drives, when you or Brad get a chance...
