Default Sanibel Island

Im coming down to Florida later this month and staying on Sanibel Island. We are looking for a place to rent a boat and any information on hot spots that you can visit by the water would be appreciated.

Will you be there on Sat the 23rd ? Ft Myers Offshore has it's first fun run of the season and boats will assemble and leave from near the raised portion of the bridge to Sanibel nearest the mainland at 11 AM. You may want to see us leave heading south to Naples. Lots and lots of cool places on the water to visit. Sanibel Harbor Resort, Cabbage Key, Green Flash, Bubble Room, over in Ft Myers Beach there is Parrot Key and several more along the ICW, in Cape Coral you have Rummrunners is great and Tarpon Point Resort. I could go on but others will jump in and share their favorites. Not sure what to recommend for rentals but others up that way will know and hopefully share with you.
Enjoy.
Bob

Unfortunately we will be in Miami that day, before the Steeler Miami game.

Go to Rummrunners on Tuesday nights.
Large crowd, motorcycle night, great live music.
Outdoor bar.

Have fun and let us know what you wind up doing.

I'll be in Ft. Myers Beach for a week with the family the first week in Dec., the same week as the boat parade. I'm sure we'll be heading over to Sanibel while I'm there, we love that place!

I used to hangout there quite a bit 5-6 years ago, so I think these places are still open, but try Jackalopes and Tween Water, both crazy fun back then, good luck and have fun.
