Setup and prop testing
We previously showed a video showing 114. Saturday we raised the drive and tried a different prop. Ran a best of 117. We're going to be doing additional testing today with another prop to see if we can find another 3 or 4 mph. While this isn't a big number for the fast cats, it's not bad for a 30' non-step single engine v.

Congrats man!! Bring that thing to the shootout next year. We will all be there again. Will it run that quick in 3/4 of a mile? If it will, you would have won last year.

:drink: nice numbers Bill, be safe out there!

May not be a huge number these days with 180 mph cats everywhere but I think its pretty impressive for a single engine big 30' boat. Not like its a cut down, narrow beam, race boat. Good job!

Those are very good numbers for a single vee. I'll bet it accelerates like a rocket. Back in the early 90's I had a 27 Excalibur with a 1052 hp. turbo motor, best top end was 105 mph but it felt like at any time you could cork screw into a roll, but it would go from 70 to 90 in about 4-5 seconds. Thats a great running boat keep us posted on your results. John M.
