Check out a Donzi 22 Classic. It has a rounded keel.

Drove one the other day, way to smooth, 454 magnum, not very fast, really stuck to the water, no sensation of speed (drag, it is one cool looking boat!)

Drove an 18 with a 300 MPI magnum 300 HP, now that boats flys! Get real high, very fun feeling boat. Just over 70 MPH, but feels real fast

If you can find a 21' Superboat, or 21' Challenger, they both have a small pad and both boats work well. They are hard to find, with an I/O set-up for sale like you want. But both run like hell with a big outboard on the transom.. If you want to run 80+mph the Velocity, Progression, Superboat are the ticket. My father had owned a 18' Donzi, and a 20' Cigarette and both are nice boats, but what I suggested above will chew-up and spit out the Cigarette and Donzi with the same power, that is a fact not fiction.

I do like the 21' Sutphen, but I like all Sutphens.

Default Any thoughts on the 21' Ultra Stealth??

Any thoughts on the 21' Ultra Stealth??

Sharp looking, but I don't know anything about the performance.

What sort of speed would 21 or 22 with 494, or 454 magnum get??

What sort of money is that boat?

Stock steering or Hydraulic?

What is the weight?

What speed would it do with a 496?

With a 496HO it runs 82-84mph.

I've seen one 21 superboat with a big block on my lake, WOW!! That boat was wild to watch (not sure how safe it was,,,) but looked great, ran like a hydrostream V King!

The boat pictured is 300HP and has stock steering. It jumps on plane and gets to 70+ mph real fast. It weighs approx 2500lbs.
We can also build you a 496 boat which should take dual ram hydraulic steering. That will get you 83 - 85 MPH. Some of the guys on the boards can tell you about the performance of this boat.
Drop me an email and I can give you more details on the 21 in the picture.
