Looks like something out of Waterworld.

Guess we can agree it's interesting. Bet it feels like 50mph......Kind of like 55 in an old VW beetle feels like 80.

Ask not "WHY" Grasshopper....but WHY NOT?

I'm with Wobble, the why part is obvious. Jet power is great for running rivers and flats where water depth is an issue.

It may look stupid, but it was probably pretty practical to the redneck that actually used it.

(as you can see I'm a little partial to redneck engineering)

Great for dragging "something" into the swamp.

Why? Probably smashed his jetski hull and was probably the cheapest fix he could find!

Wonder if he sticks an oar out the back to use as a rutter for low speed turns! :D

Ok, who's going to be the first to go and test drive it!

As for how fast it feels, back when I was young,,,,,, we had a 10 foot john boat rated for 4 hp, I used to put a 15HP on it. I had to sit in the middle to keep it planed but it felt like it was flying, we ran a ski boat with the dual speedo's next to it and it ran about 25.

I bet 45 in that feels fast.
