Question boats for sale in europe

Please help!
As you may have seen in the for sale section/classifieds, I have boats, lying in spain/europe for sale. ( Apache 47, Cougar 46, Abbate 36 ) Although I have hundreds of clicks on my ads, it seems that no one is serous interested. What could be the reason.? The boats have reasonable prices, with room to move as well. Is it the long way to travel? Are there too many cost apart the transport, maybe tax or something? Is the market not good for sellers?

Thank´s for anwering,

Michael

Michael,

I think the logistics and the cost of transporting a boat to the states is a major problem for most buyers.

if you live in NY and you want a boat in FLA you can fly down for $119 on jet blue. If it happens to be in Cali you can fly out for about $400 on the weekend.

If its in Spain its gonna take 5 days to get there to look at it and cost a few grand. Not to mention shipping aboat to the US is neither cheap or easy. As for the cig. I always though the rev 42 was funny looking (my girlfriend's dad had one a few years back). And there seesm tobe soem of them available stateside

BUT if i was in the market for an apache i would consider it. I like going to europe

Just in case you know someone looking for one of my boats. There is enough room to move the price. Transport is to Miami 15.000 US$

15,000 usd for transport????is that correct. If so that could be your answer. I would not have a problem with a deal for a boat that was not too pricey. I would buy sight unseen, but most people wont. Taxes and transport negate most of the good deals overseas.

I LL MAKE AN OFFER OF $ 100,000.00 AND I WILL INCUR ALL SHIPPING AND TAXES SIGHT UNSEEN. WHICH IS A FAIR DEAL I THINK CONSIDERING THE SIZE OF THE BOAT AND IT NEEDING TO BE UPDATED.

Michael send me an e-mail,Me and friends have a condo in Ibesa. My partner is looking for a 47 Apache. He lives in Hamburg. He has a 88 ft. Pershing that was in Travamunde last year at the race in July. We will be racing there again this year. He is looking for a 47 staggered twin only. Power is not an issue, we have blower motors already in Germany.cheers, Jeff Dean

Jeff,

Did you get the e-mail? Did you already look at the pics as well?
