Single setup in a 28' Batboat, love everything, just sorting out the prop to settle the boat down. Great customer support.

Serious coin, but a lot better comb than the rip-off Merc products, IMO. Also, owning two Viper's (a TT and track car) I can tell the V10 is as solid as a rock, can take a serious beating, and can make insane amounts of power.

If I were buying new, this would be the way I'd go... or with surface drives.

Pleased to date but barely 15hrs on them. Keep in mind I have GEN3 710 ILMOR's retrofitted w/ the new INDY drive. WAY MORE RELAIBLE PACKAGE than the combination I had but then again packages were limited options back then.

In my case I've added 250-300lbs, now spin a tranny & substantially larger gears, shafts & propellers w/ a higher gear ratio electively & didn't lose any speed. Had I stuck w/ the taller ratio my guess is I'd have gained both reliability & speed.

Still tinkering!!
