29' Lavey Craft

Does any one think it would be worth a 8,000 dollar upgrade to do Air and generator on a 29' boat

I think it would all depend on what you intend to use the boat for and what you expect for performance. the 29 Lavey is a very light boat for it's size due to the vacuum bagging and layup. If top end speed is a priority for ya, you're adding a whole lotta weight, which we all know robs top end numbers.

However, if top end is not a huge concern and you plan to use it for long weekends away on the boat, it could come in handy. I personally think that if you're gonna buy a boat that is know to be very fast for it's size, you're doing it injustice by loading it down with a heavy generator and air system. Someday when my 24 grows up I hope it will also be a 29 Lavey!!! Just my .02
