I thought these pics were appropriate for Haggin's retirement thread. There will never be another like him!

Thanks John......I can just see those horse people watching you trot around in those shorts and boots that you have made into icons.

Best of luck in the future.

I thought this was funny:

(AMF reportedly stands for "American Made Fun")

I had always thought it was, "Adios, MotherFcker.....", like the shot http://smiliesftw.com/x/spit.gif :drink:

Good luck with the ponies John! :coolcowboy:

For the sake of propriety and appearances, there were always two versions. Mr. Haggin told me both the first time I interviewed him seven years ago. For obvious reasons, "American Made Fun" is the only one I have ever been able to use in print or online. :cool-smiley-011:

"America Moving Forward" was(and is)for public consumption...

Would you care to see my notes from the original interview seven years ago? (I doubt I still have them.) Trust me, that's what he told me back then. If it evolved into something else, and it did, so be it. But that's what it was initially. Ask him.

Whats Haggin gonna do now? No more boats at all?

John has it in his blood for BIG HORSE POWER !
Other than the thoroughbreds I bet he would venture into something else with TV exposure and a lot of HP !

Could he be heading to Drag Racing ? (Nothing to do with Key West BTW) They have Turbines ! :drink:

Or perhaps he will go for all of the noise and go build a Monster Truck or something ?

The Sprint Boats in New Zealand was short lived as exciting as it seemed to many of us...

Whatever it may be, I wish you the best John !

I am sure this is not the last we see of you !!! :drink:

I have to admit, them big horses are amazing !

The day of BIG BROWN's last race. # 4 going out with another WIN !
