Well if it makes you feel any better it will be 84 and sunny here today and all week, but I will be at work everyday while my boat sits covered up. And this weekend my woman has made me plans to work around the house to get ready for company. :angry-smiley-055: I dont feel the cold but do feel your pain.

Jim

I probably boat about the average here at the Lake, from April to September, but as far as what I would call warm weather and water it's really from Memorial Day to mid September.

But when it gets hot, it's "HOT", the humidity will take your breath away.
In July and August the humidity is mostly in the mid/upper 90s or 100% man does it feel hot.

So we boat every weekend (Friday-Sunday) to get as many in as we can and if anybody plans anything for us during the Summer (unless it's at the Lake) their usually SOL, we probably won't be there.

For the "Support your Troops Poker Run" at LOTO in 2009 it was 105 deg with 100% humidity and people who weren't from here couldn't believe it, there were over 100 boats in it.

I only want to hold something that temperature in my hand when I first open it, ever again.

I know, off topic....

My neighbor cutting the 6" inch thick "ICE" from around our docks with a chain saw.

WOW, he is quite close to open water, You would not catch me doing that, if he went in, hypothermia in seconds in that stuff.

Woke up this morning in Erie and we have two inches of the white stuff on the ground and the weatherman said nothing above 40 degrees for the 10 day forecast! SH****T.

f61, I thought the guy was a little goofy too, I warned him twice and told him I'd throw him a rope, but I wasn't coming in after him that he was on his own, my Momma didn't raise no FOOL.
