looking for aluminum trailer

I'm looking for an aluminum trailer. Who makes a good one? Who should I stay away from. Thanks

I bought a Venture aluminum trailer last season from Zinner Marine. Have had no issues with and the prices was good. 6500 Lbs, tandem with spare...$3200.

I'm a big fan of Ace Trailers, if you want new. http://www.ace-trailers.com/

Ask for Terry.

I also have a used 26 - 28 and a used 36- 38, both triple axle aluminum.

2900 and 3900 respectively.

it all depends. what are you putting on it...if its for a <30 boat then something like load rite / venture might suit you...even then the quality of these trailers is ehhh...honestly the only way i would buy from either of those trailer companies is if my boat weighed less than 5000 lbs wet...

if you are looking to put your 42SS on it...i would suggest a better quality trailer: myco, float on, real extreme, manning, hi tech marine, fast load, all american, etc

it also depends on your trailering needs...do you go long distances, is it gonna sit at a marina, etc

For a 30 CC. Plan on dragging it around to use as a dive boat, so most of the trailering is going to be hundreds of miles. I'm not looking for cheap, but I would rather not spend Myco welded money unless I have to.

I personally would go with one of the Florida trailer manufacturers...float on, slide on, fast load, real extreme, hi tech marine, etc...see above

expect to pay around 4500 - 7500 depending on features which include: guides, kodiak discs, led's, tool boxes, etc

i assume the 30CC is striahg tV so it wont need to be highly customized...check classifieds to save on used it thats the case.

I am happy with my Hi-Tech. I would have probably gone with Manning if they would have called me back but they never did...

1) Myco
2) Manning
3) McClain

-welded aluminum C-channel trailer. There is a difference and is worth it.
