Engine shipping??

Does anyone deal with a freight company that ships engines on a regular basis? I have had engines transported before for $250 or $300. Don't remember who it was through. Calling around and getting quotes of $800 each due to weight.

Anyone know who i could call?

weight and size is a factor in freight... are they bigger and heavier than the last few you have had shipped???

A Prediction !

With your good luck and track record, your finished engines will probably vanish on the way back to you so shipping costs will only be a small part of the equation.:evilb::evilb::evilb:

I have been using Fedex Freight. They give me the best deal. It is a totally seperate division from the regular Fedex. One of the biggest factors in cost is going to be the class. I try to use class 70. Sometime I have to use class 85, depending on what the parts are. The higher the class, the higher the price. Try to get away with class 70. Just be sure they don't have any oil or fluids in them.
