I've been getting a ton of questions and compliments about the paint. The paint is by Billy Streeter, but the clear was done at a place called New Haven Truck and Auto in New Haven, CT. It is the perfect place to paint or clear a boat because they have a 60ft state of the art clear booth that they use to paint trucks.

The owner, Billy, is a huge car and boat nut and a real detail oriented guy. I remember when I brought the boat there and he said "How nuts do you want to get with the clear?". My reply was "all the way" and you can see the results pretty well below. These guys did an incredible job, look at the shine in this pic and there really wasn't any sun when we took it.

All the custom and mechanical work was done by Richie and Mark at Northeast Performance Marine in Bridgeport, CT. This project was a ton of work and it would be nowhere without them. They basically built the whole boat, and some of their detail work is off the charts. Nobody wrenches on my boat but Richie and/or Mark.

One final shout-out and then I will shut up. All the stereo and electronics were done by Dan at Attention To Detail in Middletown, CT. He probably has 80 hours into the boat: 14 speaker system with JL speakers and 3 JL amps, Alpine headunit, MC10 remote and additional wireless remote and a Samsung flatscreen. Dan did some really trick features like LED lights in the speakers, billet speaker grills, integrated IPOD dock that looks factory, the volume for the flatscreen plays through the cabin JL speakers, a switch to turn off power to the cockpit speakers to play music only in the cabin, or to turn off the cabin speakers and only play the cockpit, and on and on and on. The whole thing is wired like a work of art and double and triple fastened. If you need stereo work in CT call Dan or shoot me a pm and I can put you in touch.

Unfortunately, no. I should have taken some pics of the wiring, but the stereo was the last thing that we did and I was in a hurry to get the boat back together because the end of the season was closing in. Most everything is hidden behind panels, upholstery, etc. He just did a really nice job making sure that everything was neat and tidy, and that everything was show quality even the stuff that nobody would ever see. He was also very conscience of the fact that everything had to be fastened down tight and secured because the boat will see some rough water.

Rich boat looks amazing! I assume you bought the boat from Dominic. Funny thing is I bought Dom's Cafe years ago and totally redid that boat as well. Good luck it looks fantastic I am sure we will see you out there next summer.

Yeah, I loved this boat since the day I saw it and was eventually able to get my hands on it. I tried to email Dom a bunch of times with the pics of what I did to his boat, but I must have an old email address or something. I really need to call him to get his email so I can send him a link to this thread. In September I was cruising through the thimbles and past Dom on his jet ski, he saw the boat from a distance but I don't think he really got a good look.
