Is there an actual website where you can lookup public records for people in MI?

Not aware of a comprehensive free search site. If you're looking for civil or criminal judgements against a particular person, I'd recommend just searching the circuit court websites in the counties surrounding where the person lives or works.....you'd be suprised how easy it is to find the dirt.

through the name out im in construction, it seems we only deal with dead beats and bottom feeders

What type of public records search are you looking for?

There is a free prison record search through MIs department of corrections (I think it only lists felonies though), there is a free pedophile search, and I can look up properties and addresses as a Realtor (you can do this for free at the county office, but if you give me a whole name and general area I'd be happy to do it for you... just use my personal email - wjb21ndtown AT yahoo).

If you need something more extensive you can either:
1) use a website to do a background check; or
2) contact a local P.I.
