1995 27 V long story short..........
Chunks of the bottom came apart.
Towed all the way back to the corn fields (Sumner Iowa)at my expience because Randysaid he would take care of it. This was in October I called and called and called was always told the boat was inside getting fixed, long about March I told him I wanted to come get it and he was not happy that I was come'n.
I get there the boat is inside but the engine compartment cockpit and cabin had 3"s of ice in them
He hauled it in there the week before did a quickie and put back outside and brought it in the day I got there.
Got home and the 2nd time out the same chunks came off and we found........wait for it...........BONDO and automotive enamel white paint.
Guess what? he blamed it on me and our lake and said I was on my own.
Anyway there is so much more and there were about 5 others around here that just fell apart.
Do a search on Profile or Randy Shultz its all out there.
And by the way, the only reason the smaller cats looked good was because he bought the tooling for them.
All I can say is good luck and be careful what you pay for it.

the one im looking at is a 94 29 V with a merc 525sc in it. boat has about 450hrs on it and the motor has about 30-40hrs on a complete rebuild. the boat seemed to be in great shape structuraly. mainly needed some interior updating, the hatch sunpad redone and one hell of a cleaning. Id be pissed too if my boat ad ice and snow inside from his carelessness!
