here is a copy from the AT Forum:

ThunderousDaze response:
What a day, I guess OSO will love this as the traffic stays up there! I
see everyone is interested in my response, sorry it took so long, but
both of my accounts have been shut off, so I asked someone to post it
for me. I just caught a bunch of hell from you know who, good thing I
sold another boat today!

In one respect, utilizing another name other than my ThunderousDaze
could be considered wrong, but I decided to keep my personal views
separate from the business, believing this was more professional.

Just so everyone knows, Pat and I both live by the rule to let the boat
sell itself, and it "obviously" does. We have never talked trash about
any manufacturer to anyone who has visited Active Thunder in search of a
new boat, and in my opinion, it is very unprofessional to do so. And
anyone (and there are a lot of you) who has visited or called, knows
this to be true!

So, for me to air my "personal" opinions and views, I elected to utilize
a different screen name, and that was ScreaminDemon (my mothers nickname
for me). By having a second screen name, I thought that I could enjoy
the OSO board without reflecting my opinions on the Active Thunder
business. And just so you all know, anything I ever mentioned was, to
the best of my knowledge, true.

As for my opinions and views towards Powerplay, just understand that I
didn't start it and "YES" I have an axe to grind with good reason. But,
I am not interested in getting into details at this time (I worked their
before the Bosco days and I'll leave it at that, UNLESS provoked).

Have a GREAT day!
Steve Wilson

PS - I guess my new name will be ScreaminThunder!

in my opinion it is very unprofessional for an agent of the company to come on a PUBLIC forum and bash another builder under an asumed name!! Just my 02 worth........f it was my Co...You would be history!

Troutly,

I think that we should leave the investigation up to you. I'm sure with your back ground you would get down to the truth.

If you make the investigation interesting maybe COP'S will have a video camera looking oaver your shoulder.

Unbelievable?

A Product is only as good as the company behind it, and the people behind the company.

I would never spend money with a company, especially the kind of money these boats cost, knowing it is run by people like this.

What ashame.

I am an Active Thunder owner, and I am VERY dissapointed in this. If I had a boat on order and had not just purchased one, I would be getting my money back! This is terriable, and makes me SICK! :-(

MIKE, Tell us how bad we must really feel. Why dont you share with the rest of us how that effects A.T. build quality as well. By the way Good luck in your purchase of center console PP. Although I do not condone or approve of what has happened, I will not pass judgement until I hear the other side, and of course we want to hear the whole truth, the laundry, What should have been said in Thunderousdaze posts only, not alais, is what he feels is the truth. The difference with Bosco is he is straight up, he just flat out tells people the other boat companys are junk, A.T., Sonic, Cig. are not in his league, and OL runs a close 2nd, but 50k more. This is how he handles PP sales, has there sales tactics changed, I hope so. Is this right also, NO. , And how many alais does he have, we will never know, and how many times did he jerk me around, I bought a 2000 Cig, Boscoe, jerked me around again, then bought a used 2000 Sonic 42ss, guess what, I got jerked around for the third time, was asked can I afford one, and bought a A.T. Did I want a PP, possibly, did I get literature, NO!!. Does that mean because I got jerked around 3 years in a row that makes PP a poor boat builder or their quality has dropped, absoulutly not, they make great boats, sales tactics suck , but there are alot of other good quality boat co out there. This is a crisis that has gone back and forth for 9 months, yes its wrong, and by no means am I defending A.T.and should be settled by the two parties.
