I will be one town north at my beach house.....I never seem to make it to the actual event in the speedway but I go to the mini event on US1 across from the pair of hotels (Ruby Tuesday's is in the parking lot). It is a few hundred cars of all types and a simple way to kill a couple hours.

I like the guys with the cars that are 1/3 finished asking three times what the most perfect car in that category could ever be worth! Last year seem to have a bunch of C4 Vettes all asking 15K for average condition used cars.....

Daytona show brings out the high prices... People think their stuff is worth Barrett-Jackson money there.

I always do the same routine, Saturday morning at the speedway looking at parts/junk then about 230-3pm head to the beach. Get a spot close to the Ruby Tuesdays and hang there. Come night there will be the best of the best in that parking lot and the Laplaya lot across A1A.

Ormond Beach across from The Laplaya used to be the Sat night hot spot.
