fitting a surface drive
hi all im starting another project
i have a 27ft v hull that had a castoldi 238 fitted i removed the 238 and im going with a surface drive
tho im wondering where the hull has been cut flat at the back for the jet will i need to replace the v to its original or can i leave it as it is
the flat area is 18" wide and 5ft long and tapered off into a point
if i leave it as it is will the flatted area affect the flow of water to the prop or will it help it in any way
it is just like a large pad
any help would be much appreciated
cheers gerard
