It's not sold from what I know. I passed on it at 265K. That's what will buy it. It needs dash work, engines, trannies, props, headers, and install. Send it back to outerlimits and have them do it. I just couldn't finally justify the hastle and time it was going to take me.

that speed may be, but the same power in a same size skater will go faster. If the OL is so good why did Zuperman have to take his OL cat to peter to try and make the bottem right? Just on sheer looks the OL cat looks great, I just think that people in general were expecting the boat to go alot faster then it ended up doing.

The OL Cat is probably one of the biggest cats in the 46-50' class. It is very fast for its size. 148 with 1075's, GD ran 160+ with 1200's, as far as Zuperman goes the bottom mods were a result of the CG not being correct after the turbine install. The same changes were made by us on My Way, and we informed Barry that the changes needed to be made after we did My Way, we told him that we would do the changes and re-deliver the boat. Unfortunately he listened to other people who thought they knew more than us and declined our offer. Then once he realized we were right, he brought it to Peter for work instead of bringing to us.

Either way, the bottom of GD is fine and was never subject to any changes, The changes were only required in the 2 turbine boats because the CG was never concidered by the rigger when he installed the turbines. Both turbine installs are completely different than the proposed plan at the time of construction.

As far as the OL Cat not being fast, I beg to differ with anybody. My way ran 197 with plenty of throttle left, and those numbers are availble from Larry Goldman, he has the data log sheets from when he sold the boat. Keep an eye out for a few new cats from OL hitting the poker run scene hard in 2011, and maybe people will have a different opinion.
