I would say yes. Buddy of mine had one, very scary boat. Soon after 96 I believed they stop offering twins in the 29. Boat was poorly balanced and dangerous

Did'nt they offer the 29 with 350's and 377's untill they stopped making them?

Anyway. I remember a ride in a 98' or 99' 32 Fever a few years back with 415 hp 502mag's. It ran 74 or so. I could not imagine a 29 run 11 mph faster with the same power. I am by no means a 29 expert, but it just seems like a big difference to me.

Probably close. My cousin's '00 29' runs low 70's (72-73) with a single 500.

What size are the props, and how many rpms at WOT? I do not think it will run 85 mph, maybe 80 mph. But if you get the answer to the size props and rpms at WOT, then my guess, and anyone else's will be much more accurate.

It won't run 85, but it will kick a 26' scarab into the weeds! if that's your concern

Now that’s funny since I don’t have a 502... I’m running a 540with 1000HP

I was looking at a 96 Fountian 29' Fever w/Twin 502 MPI that was for sale and just wanted some information
