Those 33 Ocean Hawks look like an old Powerplay........they look more like a Powerplay than the new Powerplay!

Cool boats, trips to win, one down on a twin is 7-8 mph, one down on trips is 45-50 mph

Set up to test the twin boat, number 4, with an extra 900 lbs in back, plus back seat people to simulate as close as I can the triple set up. Boat number 6 or 7 will be the trip 300 Verado, Just want to be sure the way this boat planes and does not porpoise or need tabs will not change.

Next week I will be testing many props, Mirage Plus, Tempest Plus, Rev 4, and the new Bravo FS. May even raise engine a notch.

Tested the boat this morning. 560 lbs concrete on the platform, plus two guys weighing just over 500 lbs so over 1,000 pounds on bracket alone. Then we loaded 240 lbs of concrete under backseat. Me driving, another 280 lbs, with no water in fresh water tank, less than 1/2 tank fuel.

I wanted to bias the weight as far to back as possible to get worst case.

The boat will plane off with only about 3-4" bow lift right now as it is just easing into the throttles, about 16mph. With the added weight it rose about another 6" (about what most normal center consoles do) and then ran like normal. We took it to about 45 and trimmed out to see if it would porpoise and nothing. same at 50, then ran to about 61, same thing nothing.

Came off plane and tried to plane with motors still trimmed out and the bow rose a lot more but still planed off. Pretty cool. At no time did I touch the tabs and never needed them. This boat just does not have any bad habits.

Wind and rain today so there was some chop in the bay and I could not test this set up in rougher water naturally. Next step is the custom bracket and the build. Looks like boat 7 will be the winner Jimmy.

Still planning the prop testing next week to optimize the twin set up.
