Any freeware since I only do it here and there. I was looking on cnet.com
I tried Avidemux but no luck I keep getting a error trying to load it from my camcorder disc, Its a VOB file maybe thats the problem.
Help im lost on this editing. I had some Lake Cumberland 76 falls/Poker run video from a few years ago I wanted to get it up on youtube.
Something fairly easy. Thanks

If you have Windows XP, Vista, or 7, its built in. Windows Movie Maker. Basic, simple, easy to use and free.

download a trial of adobe premier pro! It's free for 30 days and if you need it, I have the product code!
It's the best video editing software I have came across!

I tried the Movie Maker.
When I try to import it in it does not recognize the video on the disc. It does not even show up when I try to get it to import it.
Im wondering if its the way my cam burned it to disc format.

You probably have it in Quick time, which is an Apple format. I have the same problem.

Yup, if its a file that ends in .mov, thats Apple, and we know how well apple and MS get along. The few that I have to edit that are in Mov format, I have a converter that changes them to AVI with MM works well with
