Just found this on ebay should go for around 10k
I guess?
I would think the motor would be pretty light? aluminum Heads intake and manifolds.

I have some experience...
 
That 383 is very similar to mine, right down to the EMI exhaust. Mine pulled 450+HP and 460+ft/lbs with dry headers...so the HP claims seem accurate.

Depending on where the HP curve is, I think the Brodix heads and single plane intake are a little overkill. Those heads probably have the 200cc intake runners, so you may be giving up some bottom end velocity and torque. Also, the single plane intake probably won't make a difference until 6,000+ RPMs...

I went with the Crane Hydraulic roller (222/230; .509/.528) cam w/ roller rockers...great setup...

What about the bottom end? No word on the crank, rods, or pistons...
