We do a Fun Run here in Sarasota on New Years Day. We meet at the Sarasota 10th St boat ramp at noon and go to a local place (either Mar Vista or Casey Key Fish House) for lunch and drinks. Depending on the weather we'll go in the Gulf or the Bay. We've had up to 25 boats go before. So come on out and we'll have fun!!!!! No entry, no prizes, just good times! We will have a few photographers on hand to capture all the action. Boats of all shapes and sizes make the run.

the start isnt til noon, heck I have driven over from the east coast to run twice on new years, havent been able to get my own boat over yet, but plan on it this year, keep the party down, and have fun new years day.
