Things on ebay go up in price in a hurry in the last hour. I wouldn't be surprised to see the bidding go up another 50%. I never even start bidding on anything until the last few minutes.

The boat did not change hands. I emailed the seller for the hell of it and asked if he was going to relist the boat (expecting an email that said he sold it). He said when he told him it was 1400 miles away, he never heard from the guy again after that!

I commend you on your honesty.....Hopefully this thread didn't spoil the guy's sale!

Thanks. That auction ended like 10 days before this thread so we're in the clear. Weather his story is true or not remains a mystery.
