My Father is still with us (pretty darn good health too) and as described above. I had the pleasure of honoring him at an awards banquet while I was the outgoing president of that organization. Brought a tear to my eyes speaking of his service to this country as a Navy WWII vet. Funny that he would have a son born on a day to remember his service duty. My brother was born on December 7th, 1958.

Thank you for helping me to remember.

God bless America, and please guys when you see a soldier thank him or her for there service. I do and you want believe the smile they give back, its worth a thousand words.
