It's the fastest fixed gear single made. Its carbon fiber/fiberglass. 310hp twin turbo charged continental engine. Has G 1000 avionics, synthetic vision, WASS, TKS (for ice), built in oxygen. Very fast but not meant to haul many people. Ohio to florida in under 4 hours. Ohio to cuba on one tank of fuel.
Very cool....How tough is the learning curve compared to step bottom, 2K+ HP boats?

I wish I could say not bad. However I'm still a rookie compared to 1000 hour pilots, so my pucker factor is there. It's actually not a bad thing though, being comfortable and complacent leads to accidents. Just making sure I'm never the first one to the crash site.

One of the great things about flying is that it sure makes boating look cheap! Congrats on the new plane, you will love it!

Awesome airplane! Makes me miss my Mooney... Some of the best memories I have were in the air. If you're ever out bumming around, check out Buckeye Executive (9oa5) That's my home airport, and it's about 3 miles from my house. Drop in, I'll buy ya lunch!

How do you like the Joystick vs. a conventional yoke or stick?
Beautiful plane BTW.
