Enter through the head door on the starboard side of the console.

Terry, in the sleeping area, is there a tub or liner of some sort under the cushion. Just noticed that, and dont remember seeing that.

Damn that is one of the nicest $hitters I have seen on a boat of that size!:drink:

What I like is the ability to have that big sunpad in the front raised, and when able to house a large storage, and or fish box, this way it doesnt crowd headroom down in the sleeping quarters. I also like the step from the front cushion to the bow. Well thought out, very practical, and nicely executed..Good Job Terry and the whole Nor-Tech Team.:Score-101010:

+1

Nor-Tech and Skater are the innovation leaders in performance boating.

No way......Cig has that sh!tter box in the middle of the cabin, very spacious and accessible! They even logo the lid so just in case you forget you are on the #1, American Legend the logo will remind you just before you pinch a loaf! :D

The one on their top fish is in a pretty generous space below the console. True performance boats don't have enclosed sh!tters. And the ones that do are so small that unless you are a chinese acrobat you have to exit the cabin anyway to wipe your azz.

That anger is called IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome).

Classic! :drink:

Can you count exactly how many logos Nortech uses on the average 39 CC? I suspect it is a one hand count, whereas #1 has to be in the 20-30 range! :D ......Just so you don't forget!

Nah I just like giving Tommy a hard time! :D

and for the record, for 500K, NT would get my check, Skippy wouldn't...#1 Legend or not. But with the thread going about Cig values on 20 year old Guns going on in the Cig section maybe those old boats will be like 69 Z28's and they will go up in value!!!! (My opinion is they are only going up in their owners minds).

Yeah we might not have that #1 but at least we have place for#2!

And another thread right down the old $h......

No doubt; JS has a feces fetish; and he is the NT cheerleader that keeps bringing Cig into every thread. Last thing on the crap box; when Cig came out with the 39 TG it had side by side seating and an enclosed head in the cabin; apparently the current design won out in terms of sales. So whatever.

Now back to the subject; I showed the wife this new CC and she absolutley loved the double bolsters and the paint scheme. I was real close to going CC after the 39 sold and the Nortech would have been on the trial list for sure. Alec's 44 is really sweet (I finally got to see it person at the rigging shop last week). I do like that table the rasies up from the floor in the Cig CC though (hint).

omerta one 12-17-2010 09:45 AM

I would like to see NT run the CC in the Bimini race this year. Last year two DI's ran, and they ran really strong. I was totally impressed by their performance in what was extremely snotty water.

and I imagine the lack of an enclosed head saves money and makes the boats faster. Probably the same reason for the covergirl cabin, less weight, less money, less work and marginally faster so they can charge more! :grinser010:

They used the same kind of theory for discontinuing the Gladiator......too much work, due to the hull not having a rubrail/bonded deck.

Go ride on both, then make your descion.. Just in case you are going to ask, yes, Ive been on both. The NT planes in seconds, and has virtually no bow rise. The 10' beam for fishing is what I really like vs the 9' on the 43, like Alec's boat. 73mph with 300's and 80 with 350's is great numbers for an all around boat that can also be used for poker runs.. Tommy, what color would you and your wife like. :drink:

A CC will likely be our next boat and I do like these so you never know. I've already chatted w/Terry about catching a ride next time I'm down.

Nothing is going to change the fact that this boat is awesome, Ive always liked cool looking center consoles, but this one has totally taken the grand prize. Could all these features be put on a 43 as well?

jmbtile 12-18-2010 09:18 AM

Terry
You know my thoughts... Nicest, best thought out, great performing CC.. One day my friend I'll be part of the NT family. Great job!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jupiter Sunsation 12-18-2010 02:32 PM

This thread certainly isn't doing anything for Ciggy's customer retention! No less than 5 Cigarette owners (many with multiple Cigs) praising another Nortech! :D

If Skip hears about this you might get banned from the family!

Dont get me wrong I love my boat... prob best boat I have ever owned. Would be an even better boat though if it came with the customer service/relations that comes with the purchase of a NT. Not knocking cigs product just the customer svc. As far as the NT CC, they just REALLY hit the mark. TONS of thought went into that one! Terry again GREAT JOB! You guys should be prowd of that one.

You are 100% right on with your post. Your Cig is beautiful and must be quite fast with that power/drive combo!

I think you'll find that the Cig owners here don't have as much of a problem complimenting a well thought out and put together boat as much as you disapprove/dislike Cigarette.
Frankly, it has nothing to do with Cigarette, this boat stands on its own merit and everyone at Nor-tech should be proud, the constant caparisons and cheer leading mean nothing.

I bought my Cig from Lip-Ship and could not be more pleased with the level of customer service I have rec'vd there. I see Pier 57 at the major events. For some of the west coast FL boys (and I assume NT North as well) that NT performs like a concierge service. I would assume CS logistics are a challenge for most builders with the shrinking dealer networks.
