Terry gave us our first ride on a Black Thunder back in the day and I have always said they made a BIG mistake in not doing more to keep him. I know the owners of NT are good guys but I believe without Terry the company would not be anywhere near the level they are at now. I guess his funding the cc project proved that. LOL I hope they pay him well! Nice article and I agree it is nice to see a good guy do well. Like others here, someday we hope to be able to buy a boat from him. Donna

Wow,
Thanks Tank and everyone for your kind words.
Getting a little choked up here.

Not so sure"Main Man" applies in this case as it takes the whole team to keep this rodeo going.
Remember there is no "I" in Terry ( unless I was woman so in that case it could be Terri and there would be an "I' and then well anyway...where was I going with this?? ) Oh yeah.

First I'd have to thank my wife for allowing me to hang up the bar codes and a promising career to pursue this passion.
There were some very lean years back in the BT days. Then fast forward to having enough faith to risk the kid's trust fund on the latest venture. Thanks honey.
Then to Trond for talking me into moving to FL and becoming part of this venture.
To Nils Johnsen, without his vision, creativity, genius and hard work, none of this would be possible.
Finally to the whole Nor-Tech team and to the customers that brought us to where we are.

Stay tuned for more.....

Terry

Terry,

Since visiting the Nor-Tech facility in 2007, and being involved in FMO (we have a number of Nor-Tech boats), I have made a bunch of posts over the past few years, regarding how impressed I was with various Nor-Tech projects.

Reading a story like this one, driven by a passion for what you are doing, and being very good at it, ... well lets just say I am really impressed, once again, by the Nor-Tech team.

Terry, you are more than welcome. Nothing pleases me more to see good things happening to good people. You deserve all the accolades and praise you’ve been given here, for you have worked for it and have earned it.

Keep up the good work!

P.S.

Kelly wants to know when we’re going to sushi again?

P.S.S.

When do we get to see what's next for Nor-Tech?

Terry also fits well between two motors in a vee bottom when you need some one to shut the sea cocks to clean the strainers ....

Happy Holidays Terry... Tom
