Oh... and eddie... I have an Escalade EXT as my tow vehicle... I think my towing capacity is 7300 lbs, but I'm not too worried about a heavier boat cause the launch is so close to my house (famous last words).

Do yourself a favor and step back for a few moments.....Take your time in what ever you pick out !Dont be in any rush to buy something ----- Even if it takes 6 or 8 months to find what you like..
1. Dont trust any one when spending that kind of money.
2.When you find something you like before you test drive it call around to the insurance companies and get a firm quote so you can live with the boat after you purchase it....
3.Think long and hard when looking at anything with big horsepower or exotic engines. they are very expensive to fix down the road and you will need to fix, repair , or rebuild sooner or later.
4.Hire a surveyor to check the boat out before any money changes hands.
5. Take someone with you that knows about fast boats and will give you unbiased answers. Not a sales man...
I know you will find what you like on your own.. Good luck

You should be able to get away with towing this boat a short distance with your truck. It has a nice cabin, short enough that it is fun for you, but long enough the woman should feel comfortable. It also leaves you some cash for a new tow vehicle in case your won't do it. Also the engines are closed cooling, good for salt water use.

38 Top Gun TS with 525's, full cover girl cabin, & trailer. You'll have a TON of fun in that boat, & be able to run water of all kinds. It's very likely that you could end up pocketing a little since you can buy nice TS Guns for under $150k currently. That would take care of some insurance & storage.
