Statement Marine 37CC on it's way!
 

I was over at Statement today, and took some pictures of the new 37 CC they have coming out. They ''SOLD '' 2 of them already.

These were the Spectre molds??

It seems lots of folks are switching from performance boats to CC. (I did)

Will the floor/interior be suspended? Interesting....

Yes they will be putting in the air-cushioned floor, that reduces the hard hits and vibrations normally felt in Vbottoms. So now running out to you favorite fishing hole 40 mile out, you will not feel all beat up before you get there.

Are they changing the bottom at all?

No you thinking of the Sonics which are now Frisini's. They were the Dakotas.

Jupiter built a 29, 31 and 39....not sure where they got these 37's. The Jupiter hulls are not known to be fast hulls by any measure, not sure that is the platform to start with for any performance CC.

They are not the old Jupiter Hulls.

Working hard on the Statement 37CC , did not realize how many molds are involved in CC.Here are some pictures of Hull 1 and working on Hull 2.

Is this going to be an I/O like the 37 Spectre?

The 2 boats that they have sold, the customers wanted the
cummins diesel in them.

I talked to Nick last week.

He said that the 34 is going to be an outboard boat and the 37 is going to be an I/O Diesel Boat.

I quess they are planning on several changes to get cummins into that boat. It was built around the Yanmar 6lp's, and I doubt cummins has anything that is as small as it.

Maybe not as small but Cummins switched to the truck engine so it will probly match the Yanmar's weight now.

I actually saw a couple of different specs on the new cummins today. From what I have been told it will still be heavier than the 6lp. I hear that statement is also changing the back of the boat, so space won't be an issue. I am really curious to see how these new engines run. I saw 350 hp but only 515 tq.

Is it the 5.9 or 6.7? Actually 350/515 is less than 1.5/1 so that will most likely raise rpms which is a good thing for boats.

Stopped down and had lunch with Nick at Statement today, and hard at work they were getting ready for the Miami Boat Show!
