What kind of weight, power, speed and intended use are we talking here? Do you need them to help get up on plane or are you looking to control the attitude the boat flies at better?

Boat weighs in at 4300lbs. full of fuel and gear. Will be in the 600hp range after rebuild and should run near 80mph possibly a little over. Run boat in the Atlantic Ocean, local rivers and Chesapeake Bay. Boat gets on plane fine and with the power I have now which is only 385hp the boat runs with a good attitude.

I would run a long tab on it.

Kplanes are probably out of the budget. I was checking out some Lenco High Performance Trim Tabs. Was wondering on a length.

Lencos are nice tabs and easy to install. I do find their actuation to be a bit fast, but one can get used to it.
Dual ram Bennett Sport Tabs aren't bad, but more of a paint to install.
Boat Leveler makes a heavy duty tab, but the hose mount to the cylinders is problematic without some re-work.
K-Planes are awesome, but so is their price.
As for size, don't scrimp. I'd go 12"x12" minimum and longer if at all possible. Remember, trim tabs can effectively lengthen your hull by the length of the tab - which is usually cheaper than buying a longer hull.
When you do select your tabs, make sure you do some reading on how to mount them. Lots of posts here if you search. Mounting them incorrectly is not only a paint to fix, but will rob you of speed.

Just weighing my options on what I want to do on cost. Do I really want a payment on that boat or upgrade the one I have. The Pantera although a nice boat doesn't have the power I would wish for and with the payment I would have, it would take a while to upgrade the power.
