The motors are Innovations, not every other which way they spelled it. The exhaust however, appears to be merc, or osco. I would be very suspect of them in that application.

Sydwayz 12-24-2010 09:53 AM

That boat has been in pics here on OSO in the past, but I don't have any current knowledge on it. The boat looks WELL weathered.

Another member runs a 32 with twin 600s and it runs in the 90s. That hull is a wave crusher. It could be a great boat, again.

Sydwayz 12-24-2010 09:56 AM

One needs to store that boat slightly nose down when parked outside. That deck design can hold a bit of water when stored nose up. That appears to be just collected dirt up there.

Griff 12-24-2010 10:46 AM

I remember when it was advertised in the OSO classifieds. The pics then looked like it was a very clean boat. It was advertised with Innovation 600hps and I don't think they had more than about 250hrs on them. That was maybe 1-2 years ago. The ad said it ran 80mph which surprised me since that is the same speed that 500hp 32's run. It could have something to do with the Innnovation water pick ups that are mounted through the bottom of the hull at the front of the engines.
I agree with Sydwaz on the deck. It is most likely just dirt around the deck hatches. It looks like it has been sitting in the weather for while uncovered.

This guy has some feedback issues that he addresses... He also appears to be engaging in "shill" bidding which is to say that he has a buddy(or himself) who is bidding the item up for him which is how he can afford to hold these "no reserve" auctions. Look at his top bidder and you will see that he has a 42% bid rate with this particular seller.

Yup! Look at the bid history also. Appears that same person is bidding the item up against himself.

I put in a 28000 bid and was outbid within an hour by this user. Definitely shill bidding. Not a good way to run a "NO Reserve" auction but it does draw the bidders in........worked on me. Now his bid rate is up to 46%. I'll bet he ends up being the winner. :angry-smiley-038: Still a nice boat, after a good cleaning.

northernoffshore 12-28-2010 11:16 AM

those motors and drives are most likely damaged.

I agree. I considered bidding on the thing, but I think it's priced about right where it is. The interior needs work and I'm guessing the motors do as well... and who knows about the drives...

OUTLAW11 12-28-2010 08:48 PM

what are the1200 efi motors and drives worth

rangerrick63 12-28-2010 09:06 PM

I do believe that is the same boat that has been sitting at a marina in Gulfshores, AL for several years, & was being listed as a consignment.
It was listed on boat trader online thru the same marina.
I think the asking price was in the low 80's...
I was always planning on running over to take a look, but at that price, I didn't think it would be worth the effort.
I'm not sure if the boat is still in the area...
Good luck :drink:

OUTLAW11 12-28-2010 10:02 PM

what is the hull worth wont the motors only :evilb:

Griff 12-29-2010 11:11 AM

If the boat was in very good condition, I would say its worth close to 50-60k. Without knowing the real condition, its impossible to tell what it is worth.
I would guess that if the hull is in good shape and the interior is fair, that w/o power and drives, its probably worth 25k.

I'll give you the 15k for the boat and trailer. I'm looking for a second boat for up here on the lake and I'd rather go with brand new power.

OUTLAW11 12-29-2010 12:22 PM

pm your # and let me see what happens thanks

OUTLAW11 12-29-2010 02:21 PM

I think the hull less power and drives will sell fast for that price.

IMO, the 600hp Innovations would need to be gone through with 300hrs and are worth about about 6k each if they run. The drives are worth about 3k each since they look to be Imco or Sportsmaster lowers.

That means at you would need to get it at 33k. Its over 30k now. My guess is it will go for about 38k.....and I still think that is a good deal if there are no serious issues with the boat.

OUTLAW11 12-30-2010 09:06 AM

even at 38 thats:party-smiley-004: 1/2 of book love the big oil people but just need the parts

Hunh? Did you get it or not? And why not bid $38k if it's 1/2 book, like you said? I think it "sold" for $34,900, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it re-listed due to a "non-paying bidder" (that was the Sellers friend or the Sellers alternate Id. The winning bidder seems to have a checkered past.

MidOcean 12-31-2010 08:27 AM

His "friend" got out at 30k. That was his "reserve." In real world numbers it's all the boat is worth.
