I had a Chris cat with quad 2.5 Merc outboards and it was very high maintenance, four of everything. It really liked fuel too. It is a very cool looking boat and I bet it rides real nice.

My Chris Cat could burn 120 gal. in 2 hrs. But that would be a 130-140 mile trip.

It's not a Cig Joe!

Two ME cats were used for a movie in the mid 80's. I'm pretty sure that is one of them. The boats sat on the top rack at the Fort forever. One was laid up pretty light.. as in it was just a shell. I don't know if this is the one or not.

I think the shell one is the black boat in chicago. The gel was blistered pretty bad on that boat. ate outboards.

I like how the sponsons were designed wide enough so that the inside motors could be mounted behind them, thus saving the lower units from constant damage in the tunnel.

The Active Cat was traceable to the Cougar's,The one they (ME) "popped" was a boat we rigged for a guy in Chicago.

Is this an ME cat?

I thought the 38 Active was traced back to the OE (???)

No that is Maynard's Catman 38 Cougar pleasure boat originally had inboards in the wing when it was a raceboat.
