First time in Ga since 1963, where are you located? I mean on Christmas.

Appears the pool is running, as in full of water.....don't let it shut off! If you have an Aqualink/Aqualogic-Prologic make sure freeze protection is enabled. If you have an electric heater (obviously it won't work under 50 degrees) but find the freeze plug in case you lose power. Titanium heaters are bulletproof except to freezes, the plug will let you drain the heater in the event you lose power and things get cold.....

BTW Jupiter was 72 today, kids riding new bikes on the street!

But tonight it is dropping into the 30's.....

we leave it running all winter now, I used to cover, but from time to time we heat and use it in the winter. It could be 70 degrees as easy as it is 30 now. Strange weather here.

Definately a record breaker! I'm at my Mom's in Cherokee Co. Gotta be around 3 inches! Last recordable accumalation according to the news was 1+1/2 inches in 1881! Can't believe the newspaper was out there! Road is solid ice now and I almost busted my arse twice just trying to get the newspaper! Looks like it could dump some more by the look of the sky this morning. It's damn cold with the wind howling now!

Thank you I appreciate the comments. I am very fortunate, we have 7 wooded acres very private, however we are not used to it being white.

I spent 4 years in Atlanta building 2 subway stations on your MARTA line.
Wonderful place, great architecture.

Unfortunately it was during that time Wayne ?????? was murdering people.

How is the weather in your neck of the woods? This is very unusual for Ga. It's been either cold or raining here so far this winter.

Actually very easy winter here at the house, Areas around us have had record snowfalls because of " lake effect" snow conditions.
Will go outside later and post pics of the dock.

twin screws 12-26-2010 03:48 PM

Still getting snow showers here, unbelievable!
