Ha... I was going to jokingly say "but it will still be a Baja" in my post (I feel entitled to throw a dig here and there as a Baja owner...), but I refrained.

That is a steep price for that boat given its history. I had no idea that it fell or had any kind of hull damage. They certainly don't talk about it in the ad.

Re-sell the engines for some extra cash also !

Just to make sure you know, those appear to be the older wet sump 6's. Also, that hull design is unstable at speeds above 90 mph. There are some things that can be done to improve the problem on that year 388 and newer, but from what I've heard the boat will still be prone to some chine walking at high speeds.

Other than the hull issue at high speeds, the 388 is a GREAT looking boat!

The extra weight of the sixes will help the chime. Also having the motors forward is another plus. Looks like a nice boat.

This one is under 40 way under 100k I would call and offer 35k for it and see how low he will come down.
