Slip width question

Hey all. New guy here looking to buy bigger boat this winter. My slip has a narrow area of 9'6" in the middle due to a finger pier(10ft entering between pilings) and is 30 feet long. How wide a beam can I buy? It is NOT a floating dock either. Tide goes easily 6 feet up and down here in Manasquan. Thanks for any advice.

Boy that is tight.
I wouldn't go any more than an 8' beam being you need 3'+ of slack on the lines to compensate for 6' of tide.

I forgot to mention that the two outside pilings have slide poles, middle piling has a rubber protector and to the stern I have to cross tie or rig two more sliders if possible.

What marina?

Small one called Glimmerglass Marina, at the Drawbridge in Manasquan NJ. Do you know it?

Maybe you need a lift?

I know the Marina. We used to launch the race boat off their ramp in the early 90's. My friend keeps his boat there as well.
