I need a room near Sandusky Ohio. HELP?

THe girlfriend has the need for speed ! Since my boat is not ready I have to take her out to Cedar Point in Sandusky to ride that big bad roller coaster :( We are going Saturday around the 26th.

Can someone PLEASE tell me a place to stay ? Something cheap  ! Either near sandusky or maybe a little east of it .I don't care if it's an hour or 2 away if the price is right !

THanks for the help ! JOE

Boot,
Sandusky has tons of Hotels in all different price ranges. Try a search on the Sandusky and there visitors bureau. We used to stay at the Econolodge when we were up there early in the year working on my old cruiser. It wasn't too bad for a cheap place. The Green tree inn is at the end of the causeway and may be a bit cheaper than the big chains. Sorry I don't have numbers for you but I'm sure you can find them with the search of Sandusky.
If you want to stay out of the area I would suggest Elyria or Lorain they are only 30 Min to the East.
If you want to stay for free you can spend the night on my Hydrohoist:eek: Slip # 823 at Cedar Point Marina:D Boat won't be in the water till June:mad:
If you have a hard time finding info email me and I'll make some calls
Scott

Joe,
This place is close and cheap. It's located at the main road in to Cedar Point.
Best Budget Inn
2027 Cleveland Rd. (Route 6)
Sandusky OH 44870
(419)626 3610 or (419)627 9770

It does not have a lounge or resturant but is priced right and it is close enough to TGI Fridays to walk.
Fridays has docking so you might see some boats come in. It is part of the Radison hotel but is in the $180 range unless you fall into a package deal.

There are many places to stay but the price at the Best Budget was in the $40 dollar range and it worked for me for the few hours I was in the room. Just don't expect the Hilton.

The Breakers Express is a newer one just built by Cedar Point.

Have Fun!

Hey Scott , Do you at least have an electric outlet on the hydrohoist for me to plug my electric blanket in ? Maybe I could just tow my boat out there and set it on your lift and stay in it .Mines not running yet either . But It would make a good hotel room though ! THANKS !;)

Cgarrett, Thank you very much ! You say you were only in the room for a few hours ?? What happen ,you get in late !

Thanks a lot guys .I know the board always comes through !

We should set up our own travel agency :D

Thanks ,JOE
