There's a 60 foot sportfish on Chesapeake Bay with a 21' Avon powered by a 300XS on a jackplate. When we asked the owner how fast it went, his reply was that "it runs out of driver at 85 mph"... I'll try to find out some details for you.

Hey E.C.,
Give Bob Leach at Eliminator a call. I am pretty sure he built a 33' Daytona with psycho power as a tender for a mega-yacht. (Guess the owner was in a hurry to get to and from the shore.) The tender was housed/transported in a 150-foot cargo shop ship that followed the yacht and carried all the owner's toys.
Nice work if you can get it.

Story I was told was the T-top was too tall for the spot that it had to fit in aboard the mega-yacht. He ordered the Midnight without checking the specs vs. where it had to fit. It was cheaper to get rid of the Midnight than modify the yacht.
A 39 ME is a sizable tender even for a megayacht. It was painted to match the yacht and even the OB's were painted navy blue!

There are two companies that build those companion ships; Stan Antrim's YES(Yacht Escort Ships) and Shadow Boats(Tom Gonzales).

I do not doubt it ,they need to buy the captain a tape measure.
