SVL-WARLOCK 01-06-2011 02:46 PM

sorry? Thanks for explaining for me

fantastixvoyage 01-06-2011 02:50 PM

Is it just me or are most of those total junk? With what repos in good shape going for it makes it tough to justify buying a salvage boat.

That said, feel free to also post repo sites. Like to see whats out there as there has been some great buys over the last couple of years.

steve that boat was down the intercoastal from me sitting for years and i went over there this summer, got it running for the guy with the intentions of buying it, but ended up not buying it. she was in bad shape, but kind of a running project. good thing i didnt buy it haha

Some time ago I tried to find some of the bank repo/damaged, and insurance damaged/totaled boats. I realize I am a little brain damaged these days, but it seemed like you had to be a business or have some type of account to buy these boats. It also seemed like the only one around the Lake Ozarks/Midwest area was the one just south of Camdenton. His prices for used & salvage parts are ironically the same price as my cost for new factory-stock Mercruiser parts.
At this point, I'm just looking for a complete twin engine / bravo drive boat that is a POS, but still has everything there.
