I know the cats did it earlier, and velocity did it. but what bigger v's were the first to break 100mph in pleasure configuration and merc power??????

Sunsation's F4 breaks 100 with staggered 700's. I am sure many others did it before them but may have used bigger power.

I'd guess fountain. Seemed like they were always quicker with comparable power (beak might have something to do with it as well).

2000 42 ol liquidator 114 with merc 900's franks first 37 broke 100 with merc 600's back in late 90's

I know they had 420s,440s,460s and the race 500s (early efi stack setup) back in the mid to late 80s.
The Carrera 36 with the old 500s broke 100mph in the late 80s ( 20+ years ago ) but it was a staggered raceboat so it doesnt count.

Ocean spray larry smith scarab had merc 800 in 1993. From what i remember it ran around 104
