I have no idea, but I wager it was on the other side of the pond first? They have pushed the diesel sport / pleasure boats for years. Sometimes on Yacht World you search terms like Buzzi, Trimax, Seatek and some awesome boats pop-up ndon't recall 100 mph but I would have to guess it's been done over there a few moons ago?

Based on our previous conversations, this is my recollection

Current 51 NorTech with tripple Yanmar (480?) diesel/Arneson, runs about 75mpg and gets 1 mpg.

His previous 51 Nor-tech with tripple 850/SSM#6, ran about 100mph and got 1/2 mpg.

Here is Bob at the helm.

Didn't reggie set a kilo record in a diesel cat about 10 years ago? Somewhere around 150 maybe. That might be the bourbon from last night talking though.....

If you're talking about James Mullen's cat it had four inline 850hp gasoline motors in it before it was rerigged for turbines. AFAIK it never was rigged with diesels.
